Extraction Walls

Design, construction, installation and maintenance of aspiration walls for industry in all sizes and capacities.

What are aspiration walls?

Aspiration walls are a particular type of device for the localized capture of air pollutants , developed for specific applications characterized by very high air volumes.

These capture units appear as metal walls with slits across their entire surface, made with prefabricated slats, and are equipped with special suction fans: the result is a single large surface for capturing contaminated air capable of managing even large flows.

Why are aspiration walls used?

Unlike hoods and aspiration arms , which are used in very different types of workstations, aspiration walls are used in very different companies, but only for one type of application: managing work in which, in a short time, an extremely high quantity of contaminants is generated or used over a large surface area.

A series of standard arms or hoods would not be able to manage such work volumes effectively. For this reason, the aspiration wall has pre-stamped slats across its entire surface that form a series of vents; once the aspirators are activated, the entire wall acts as a fume, dust, or vapor capture organ, ensuring timely and localized removal.

A classic example of a situation where the aspiration wall proves to be the perfect tool for capturing contaminants is the processing of fiberglass hulls , which are ground and generate a huge amount of polluting dust; the presence of a properly sized aspiration wall on the side of the hull being processed allows for immediate aspiration, resulting in strong protection for the worker.

Bruno Balducci srl aspiration walls

Directly producing and designing our aspiration walls allows us to modify and size them as best suits the specific operational situation proposed to us by each client.

We are able to offer floor-standing or leg-supported suction walls, specifically designed for each company's sector of interest; for example, we produce air suction walls for the painting sector, which are completed with interchangeable front panels made of fiberglass.

Regarding the built-in filters [link], these are selected from our wide range of products, with a choice between disposable or self-cleaning models. The walls are normally made of galvanized sheet metal or carbon steel, but can also be made of AISI304 or AISI 316 upon request.
