Working with fiberglass tends to release into the air a large quantity of very fine particulate matter, linked to the composition of this material, which is based on fiberglass; fiberglass tends to flake, generating such dusts, even with daily use. This dust is very sharp and extremely small in size, which makes it very easy for operators in the sector to inhale it, both during cutting or finishing operations and during simple use, with extremely pernicious consequences – up to cancer – on their respiratory system.
