Following the processes of capturing and filtering polluted air in industrial settings, there is inevitably a final phase: the one in which the air, purified of fumes, oils, odors and all contaminants, must be re-emitted into the external atmosphere.
The elements that perform this function are in themselves very simple: the exhaust stacks must essentially guarantee the emission of the treated air, in the manner established by the regulations. But those same regulations establish that precisely in this final phase a final, random check of the quality of the emitted air is carried out; and in the same way they establish the safety regulations relating to the workstations where this check is periodically carried out.
The emissions sector therefore includes both chimneys, or exhaust stacks, and those accessory elements that are the sampling points for carrying out the sampling and the paths that allow access to these workstations.
